Andrew Rudge

Andrew Rudge, PhD. GAICD has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew has held positions such as Business Development Director and Senior Business Development Manager at the University of Melbourne, where they were responsible for leading the Faculty BD team and driving effective team performance. Andrew also played a key role in developing industry-funded research projects and identifying innovative technologies for commercialization.

Andrew has also served as a Start-up Mentor and Partner Lead at Startupbootcamp, a Mentor at Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP), and as the Founder, Owner & Managing Director at Solver Ltd. In addition, they served as an Investment Committee Member at Uniseed and as a Director at Bionic Vision Australia, where they were involved in the commercialization efforts of Bionic Vision Technologies.

Furthermore, Andrew has experience as an Innovation and Development Manager at Victoria University, where they were responsible for strategic planning, commercial business development, and promoting commercial capabilities. Andrew also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Glyvale Limited and Veritide Limited, overseeing all aspects of company operations and driving growth.

Andrew Rudge, PhD. GAICD obtained their PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, specializing in Biomedical Engineering from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors as a Graduate, AICD.
