Anna Steer

Anna Steer currently serves as the Associate Director for Students & Education Strategy at the University of Melbourne's Office of the Provost, a position held since December 2008, where previous roles include Senior Program Manager and Project Manager. Steer has extensive experience in higher education management, including leadership positions such as Centre Manager at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education and Executive Manager at the LH Martin Institute. Steer's work has focused on enhancing governance, leadership, and policy innovation within the tertiary education sector. Prior to the University of Melbourne, Steer worked at the Australia & New Zealand School of Government and DBM Consultants, and began a career in administration at Monash University. Anna Steer holds a Bachelor of Business in Management from Monash University.
