Byron Collins

Byron Collins is an experienced executive with a strong background in technology and operations management. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Services and Chief Information Officer at The University of Melbourne since October 2014, Byron has previously held significant positions including Principal at Byron Collins & Associates and General Manager of Technology and Operations at Agrium Asia Pacific. Byron's extensive career at AWB Limited spanned over a decade, where various leadership roles included General Manager of Technology and Business Services and Southern Region Manager for Agrifood Technology. Earlier experience includes consulting at SMS Consulting and various sales roles at IBM Australia. Byron holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne.
