Charles Jackson has extensive experience in strategic communications and marketing, primarily in the higher education sector. Charles currently serves as the Strategic Communications Lead at the University of Melbourne since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Strategic Communications at the same university from June 2021 to September 2022. Before joining the University of Melbourne, Charles worked at the University of Adelaide, where they held various roles, including Head of Marketing and Recruitment (Professions) from January 2016 to February 2021. Charles also served as the Acting Executive Manager (Professions) from January 2015 to January 2016. Charles started their career at the University of Plymouth, where they held positions such as Marketing and Admissions Manager (Arts) from February 2009 to February 2011. Charles also worked as a Marketing Officer for Social Science and Business from August 2003 to February 2009. Charles Jackson has a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing from the University of Plymouth, which they earned from 1991 to 1995. Charles also holds a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, which they completed from 1994 to 1995. Additionally, they have completed two Executive Education programs in Leadership at UNSW, one in 2014 and another in 2016.
