Ujjwal Kc

Ujjwal KC is a Research Fellow and Data Analyst/Data Scientist at the University of Melbourne since April 2023, focusing on deriving insights from data to address complex socio-economic challenges. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CSIRO, where Ujjwal contributed to developing a prototype diagnostic system for food stress and vulnerability between May 2021 and April 2023. Academic roles include being an Academic Tutor at the University of Tasmania from March 2018 to May 2021, covering topics such as ICT Professional Practices, Project Management, Data Management Technology, and Artificial Intelligence, as well as a Research Student at CSIRO's Data61. Ujjwal also gained practical experience as an Intern at Orange, engaging in projects related to video segmentation, robotics, and computer vision. Ujjwal holds a PhD in Information Communication Technology from the University of Tasmania, alongside two master's degrees in Communication Networks and Telecommunications Engineering, and a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
