Katherine Steffy

Katherine (Murkowski) Steffy has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Katherine currently holds the position of Director, Population Health Analytics & Network Performance at the University of Michigan Health-West. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal at KS Insights LLC.

From 2021 to 2023, Katherine served as the Director, Population Health Analytics & Community Applications at Trinity Health Alliance of Michigan. In this role, they were responsible for equipping healthcare administrators and providers with the necessary information to provide effective patient care. Katherine also served as the strategy lead for THAM's population health plan and managed the Epic Connect program.

Before joining Trinity Health, Katherine worked as the Director of Provider Network Management at Health Alliance Plan from 2019 to 2021. During their time there, they built and integrated a team, developed partnerships for business development, and contracted networks for multiple lines of business.

From 2012 to 2019, Katherine held various roles at Priority Health, including Director of Network Engagement and Interim Director of Network Innovation and Education. In these positions, they developed strategic partnerships with providers, oversaw network operations, and provided analytic support.

Katherine's earlier work experience includes roles at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Arbor Hospice, and University Health Service, where they gained experience in project management, administration, and health promotion.

Katherine (Murkowski) Steffy completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2009. Katherine then pursued a Master's degree in Health Management & Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health from 2010 to 2012.
