Griffin Maklansky is an experienced professional in the sports industry, currently serving as an Account Coordinator at Team Playmaker and a Project Intern at Wasserman. Griffin has held various roles, including Development Intern at University of Michigan Athletics, where responsibilities included aiding Major Gift Officers and organizing events for key sports games. As a Project Manager for the Michigan Sport Consulting Group, Griffin led a team collaborating with the NFL to enhance public recognition of their social media initiatives. Previous experiences include marketing internships with USA Hockey and Lucra Sports, where Griffin focused on promotional strategies and fan engagement. Education includes a degree from the University of Michigan, expected in May 2024, following high school graduation from Livingston High School in 2020.

The mission of the Michigan Sport Business Association is to connect, educate, and inspire future leaders of the sport industry. Michigan SBA offers students with the opportunities to expand their personal and professional competences within the sport industry through insightful workshops, networking events, and internships as well as industry representatives working and recruiting in this area. Since we were established in 2003, our organization has been committed to growing into one of the best student groups on campus through our superior leadership, executing events with integrity and financial soundness, and incorporating new technology where it is relevant. Made up of over 250 students from six schools across the University, all of our unique members come together to create one of the premier clubs at the University of Michigan.
