Lori Standafer

Lori Standafer is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Director of Accounting Services at the University of Minnesota since September 2023. Previously, Lori held the position of Controller at Northwestern Health Sciences University and at Hamline University, where responsibilities included overseeing a team focused on various accounting functions, auditing, tax compliance, and strategic financial analysis. Lori's earlier roles include Controller at The Blake School and Accounting Manager at The Saint Paul Foundation, managing accounting services and administrative functions. Lori began a career at Ernst & Young as a Staff and Senior Accountant-Auditor. Lori holds a Master's in Nonprofit Management from Hamline University and a Bachelor's in Accounting from East Carolina University, along with an Associate degree from Craven Community College.
