Robert Uphus

Robert Uphus has extensive experience in facilities management, currently serving as Program Manager for Contract Services at the University of Minnesota since 1994, where responsibilities include managing vendor services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing asset management and maintenance solutions. Previously, Robert held the position of Assistant Director for Facilities Management, focusing on customer service and innovative process improvements. Prior to joining the University of Minnesota, Robert worked at UNISYS Corporation from 1983 to 1994 as Manager of Building Systems Automation and Team Leader & Energy Management Coordinator. Robert's educational background includes an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Inver Hills Community College, along with technical training at Red Wing Technical Institute and Minnesota State University, Mankato.
