Stephanie M. Carlson

Stephanie M. Carlson is a co-founder and advisor at Reflective Performance, Inc., where innovative applications of cognitive science enhance workforce development. As co-founder and chairman of Reflection Sciences, Inc., established in 2014 with Phil Zelazo, Stephanie previously held the roles of CEO from 2016 to 2018 and Chief Science Officer from 2018 to 2021. At the University of Minnesota, Stephanie serves as a Distinguished McKnight University Professor in the Institute of Child Development since 2007, following a tenure as an associate professor at the University of Washington from 1998 to 2007. Stephanie holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Oregon and a BA in Psychology from Bucknell University.
