Kamrhan Farwell is the current Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at University of Missouri, Columbia. Kamrhan has held this position since July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Vice Chancellor and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the University of Missouri-Columbia from October 2016 to July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the Joint Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing, which serves the University of Missouri-Columbia (also known as MU or Mizzou) and the University of Missouri System (UM System), including our campuses in St. Louis, Kansas City and Rolla, as well as a health care system. Kamrhan also directed central strategic communications efforts including media relations, marketing, branding, social media, photography and videography, University news distribution, events, website communications, executive communications, public relations, and communications supervision and strategy for the offices of the provost, advancement, extension, research, diversity and inclusion, enrollment management, university operations and auxiliaries, finance, police department, IT and HR.

Before their time at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Kamrhan Farwell served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Communications at the University of Pittsburgh from October 2016 to July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the university's strategic communications efforts.
