Tobias Brandt

Tobias Brandt currently serves as a Professor of Digital Innovation and the Public Sector at the University of Münster, focusing on the intersection of digitalization in public and private sectors. Brandt is also a Research Affiliate at ERCIS and a Co-Founder of Geospin, an analytics company, where the role transitioned from CFO to management advisor. Previously, Brandt held a Visiting Professor position at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Technology & Operations Management, researching urban data science and digital transformation. Additional experience includes leading the Smart Cities and Industries Research Group at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and conducting research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Brandt received a Ph.D. in Economics/Information Systems and a Diplom in Economics from the University of Freiburg.
