Ingrid Stengel

Ingrid Stengel is the Owner and Director of NamibGeoVista GeoConsult & Imaging CC, a position held since September 2008, where expertise includes geoconsulting, map generation, and spatial data analysis, particularly utilizing satellite and airborne data for geological, geomorphological, and environmental applications. Stengel also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Namibia University of Science & Technology since 2012, teaching courses in Environmental & Applied Remote Sensing and Earth Observation. Previous experience includes an Associate Professor role at the University of Pretoria from January 2002 to August 2008, where undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Remote Sensing, Environmental Geomorphology, and Physical Geography were taught. Stengel holds an MSc and a Doctorate in Geography from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, earned between 1982 and 1992.
