Carol Kirchner

Carol Kirchner is currently the Vice Chancellor for Business & Finance at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Carol has previously held various positions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, including Controller, Director of Accounting & Business Systems, and Director of Business Systems Development. Carol also served as the University of Nebraska SAP Team Lead and Internal Audit Manager.

Carol Kirchner has an MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a BSBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Carol is also certified as a public accountant by the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy.

Their manager is Joanne Li, Chancellor. They are on a team with Walter Ted Carter - President , Sara Myers - Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activity, and Jaci Lindburg - Associate Vice Chancellor for Innovative & Learning-Centric Initiatives.
