Emily Wacker

Emily Wacker (Wood) serves as the Director of Women's Basketball Operations at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since May 2018, following a successful tenure as a student-athlete with the University of Nebraska Women's Basketball from June 2014 to March 2018, where leadership and communication skills were demonstrated under pressure, contributing to a significant turnaround from a 7-win to a 21-win season and an NCAA Tournament berth. Additionally, Wacker gained coaching experience at the Nebraska Basketball Camp, instructing youth athletes in essential basketball skills, and participated in a service-oriented trip to the Dominican Republic focused on community building and cultural exchange. Wacker holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned between 2014 and 2018.
