Steve Geiken

Steve Geiken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial management and administration. Since March 2005, Steve has served as the Business Manager at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, overseeing all administrative functions for the Facilities Management & Planning department, including accounting, human resources, and budgeting. Prior to this role, Steve was the Director of the Office of Budget, Analysis and Financial Compliance at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from March 1997 to March 2005, where responsibilities included the completion of the annual budget and the preparation of the Facilities and Administrative Cost proposal. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President for Secondary Marketing at Mutual Savings Bank from June 1993 to March 1997, focusing on mortgage sales and financial analyses. Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Iowa State University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
