Janell Kay

Janell Kay is a professional with extensive experience in event management and communications, currently serving as the Manager of University Events and Manager of Athletic Affairs at the University of Nevada, Reno since April 2021. Prior to this role, Janell held multiple positions at Foundry from January 2017 to March 2021, including Account Executive and Account Manager. Earlier experience includes working as a bartender at Pinocchios and interning at RSCVA - Reno Tahoe USA. Janell began a career in finance, serving as a Teller at United Federal Credit Union and Wells Fargo. Janell holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Truckee Meadows Community College.
