Tad Kelly

Tad Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tad began their career in 2006 at the University of Nevada Reno, where they served as a Kenco Sustainable Supply Chain Fellow, conducting research in the Center for Logistics Management. During this time, they co-authored an article on alternative fuels and gained expertise in sustainable supply chains, value chains, and alternative energy.

In 2009, Tad joined LEGACY Supply Chain Services as a Client Solutions Specialist. Tad excelled in this role, providing support to internal operations staff and clients while also managing custom web applications, system integration, and data management. Tad later transitioned into managerial positions, where they developed transportation pricing best practices and served as the technical expert for the Engineering team.

Tad's most recent work experience has been at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they have held various financial and operational roles. Tad started as a Business Data Analyst in 2016 and progressed to roles such as Senior Financial Systems Analyst and Manager of Financial Systems. Currently, they serve as the Director of Accounting Operations and Financial Services, overseeing the financial operations and business intelligence of the university. From April 2023, they will assume the role of Senior Director of Financial Operations and Business Intelligence.
