Ryan Dwosh is a dedicated Medical Student at the University of New England since June 2018, with extensive experience in emergency medicine and wilderness medical instruction. Currently serving as an Assistant Instructor at Aerie Backcountry Medicine, Ryan teaches Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, and CPR courses. Previous roles include Emergency Department Technician at both Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, where responsibilities involved phlebotomy, wound care, and patient transport. Earlier career experience includes work as a Water Resource Engineer at Milone & MacBroom, Inc. and as an intern at Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission. Ryan holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont, in addition to a Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program from Jefferson Health. Leadership experience includes leading canoe trips for the University of Vermont TREK Program and Keewaydin Canoe Camp.
