Alexis Fernandez

Alexis Fernandez currently serves as a Study Abroad Peer Advisor, Tagliatela College of Engineering Ambassador, and Charger Ambassador at the University of New Haven, where studies toward a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering along with a minor in Italian Studies are ongoing. Previous internship experiences include two Gridtern positions at National Grid in the Engineering and Combustion Turbines Departments, as well as in the Maintenance Services Department. Additional roles include Team Lead at Dolce Gelateria and Teacher Aide at Nassau BOCES. Alexis holds an Advanced Regents High School Diploma in STEM from Sacred Heart Academy and participated in the Brookhaven STEM Prep Summer Institute.
