Belen Lemieux

Belen Lemieux is an accomplished laboratory manager currently leading the Forensic Science Department at the University of New Haven since February 2024. Prior to this role, Belen served at Koster Keunen, Inc. for nearly eleven years, where responsibilities included R&D Laboratory Manager, Principal Scientist, and Lead Chemist/Formulator. Belen's career in research and development began at Zotos International as a Senior Chemist, focusing on hair care formulations, and included a role as a Chemist at Unilever in the Bioscience department. Belen's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Forensic Science and Technology from the University of New Haven and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Salamanca.
