Kathy Kautz de Arango

Kathy Kautz de Arango serves as the Executive Director of University Immigration Services and the Executive Director of International and Multicultural Programs and Services at the University of New Haven since June 2015. Previously, Kathy held the position of Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Eastern University from August 1999 to June 2015, managing compliance with U.S. Department of Homeland Security regulations and overseeing services for F-1 and J-1 students and scholars. Kathy's earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of Recruiting and International Student Services at Palmer Theological Seminary and as a Humanities Teacher at Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores Monterrey. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University, a Master of Divinity from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art/Communications from Goshen College.
