Thomas Mattera

Thomas Mattera is a dedicated soccer coach and entrepreneur with extensive experience in youth soccer development. Currently serving as Co-Owner and Co-Founder of Football Coaching Services since July 2024, Thomas Mattera also holds the position of Head Men’s Soccer Coach at the University of New Haven since February 2023. Previous roles include Director of Coaching at Rush Soccer, Regional Youth National Team Scout for the U.S. Soccer Federation, and Head Men’s Soccer Coach at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. With a foundational career that began in 2014, Thomas Mattera has also contributed as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Columbia University and the University of Bridgeport, among other coaching positions, and has a strong commitment to excellence in youth athletic training. Thomas Mattera holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and additional education from Southern Connecticut State University and Norwalk High School.
