James Fitzgibbon

James Fitzgibbon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance and administrative roles within higher education and corporate environments. Currently serving as the Director of Governance & University Secretary at UNSW since March 2016, James previously held various positions at Western Sydney University from April 2009 to March 2016, including Director of Governance Services and Associate Director of the Secretariat. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Tabor College NSW and Procter & Gamble, where James developed expertise in finance and management. Academically, James holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Economics from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia.
