Aleksandr Voninski

Aleksandr Voninski currently serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global) at the University of Newcastle, where strategic leadership is provided to enhance the institution’s global engagement initiatives. Prior to this role, Aleksandr was Head of External Relations (APAC) at IDP Education Ltd, focusing on stakeholder engagement and market insights within the education sector. Aleksandr also contributed as Senior Partner at Edified, leading various consulting projects, and held the position of Director of Client Relations at ETS, overseeing strategic efforts in Australasia. Earlier experience includes Executive Director of External Relations at UNSW, where day-to-day operations and international marketing were managed, alongside roles in strategy management and global relations. Aleksandr holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California and has completed a program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
