Kiahni Huthnance

Kiahni Huthnance is an experienced researcher currently affiliated with the University of Newcastle since July 2024. Previously, Kiahni served as a Sustainability Engineer Cadet at Lake Macquarie City Council from February 2022 to October 2024 and worked as a Cadet Engineer at Golder for a brief period from December 2021 to February 2022, contributing to the mining closure team by designing post-closure landforms aimed at reducing environmental impacts. Additionally, Kiahni was an ENGG1500 Tutor at the University of Newcastle from February 2021 to January 2022. Kiahni holds a degree in Environmental and Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle, completed in June 2024.
