Amber L. Paulk is the Vice Provost, Academic Affairs & Dean of Graduate & Online Education at University of North Alabama. Amber has over 25 years of experience in higher education administration.

Amber began their career as an Assistant Professor of Communicative Disorders at The University of Alabama. Amber was quickly promoted to Audiology Program Head and then Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. In 2007, they were named Senior Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Amber served in this role for five years before being promoted to Senior Information Officer, a position they held until 2012.

In December 2009, they returned to the classroom as a Professor (Tenured) of Communicative Disorders. Amber remained in this role until 2011 when they accepted a position as Vice Provost, Academic Affairs & Dean of Graduate & Online Education at University of North Alabama.

Amber has been recognized for their dedication to teaching and their commitment to their students. In 2006, they were awarded the Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching.

Amber L. Paulk received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Audiology/Audiologist from the University of Alabama. Amber also received their Master of Science (M.S.) in Audiology/Audiologist from the University of Alabama. For their undergraduate studies, they attended Columbia College (SC) and received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Audiology/Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist.
