Josh M. Looney

Athletics Director at University of North Alabama

Josh Looney is currently the Athletics Director at the University of North Alabama. Prior to this, they served as Vice President/Director of Athletics at Missouri Western State University from August 2017 to August 2021. In July 2019, they were promoted to Vice President. From December 2015 to August 2017, Looney served as the Director of Athletics at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Josh's specialties include topics such as national NCAA issues, Division II athletic department best practices, marketing and promotion of Division II athletics, social media, leadership and personal branding.

Josh M. Looney holds a Doctorate of Education from Creighton University in Educational Leadership and Administration. Josh also has an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Organizational Behavior and Leadership. Josh's undergraduate degree is in Finance from Washburn University. Josh also has a degree in Business Administration and Management from Missouri State University.
