Anya Skye Tucker

Anya Skye Tucker is an experienced professional currently serving as a Siwar Mayu Media Website Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Asheville since September 2020. Concurrently, Anya holds multiple roles at Ben & Jerry's, including Assistant Manager, Change Maker, Shift Leader, and Ice Cream Scooper, since August 2018. Previous experience includes a position as a Gallery Associate at the Asheville Art Museum from December 2019 to September 2020 and as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician Assistant at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from February 2017 to May 2018. Anya obtained a Bachelor's degree in Spanish literature and language with a concentration in Latin American studies and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with an emphasis on indigenous studies and archaeology from the University of North Carolina Asheville (August 2018 - May 2021). Currently, Anya is pursuing a Master's degree in Geospatial Information Science and Technology at the NC State Center for Geospatial Analytics, started in August 2021.
