Nina Hall has extensive work experience in various roles. Nina began their career as a Legal Assistant, handling various tasks related to securities and corporate law. Nina then transitioned into the field of medical publishing, working as an Editor and Production Lead for a CD-ROM publisher. In this role, they managed production projects, edited medical titles, and coordinated with different departments and publishers. After that, Nina worked as a Publications Coordinator and Business Manager for the Mössbauer Effect Data Center, where they handled publication aspects and managed the office. Nina later became the Lead Science Editor and Research Scientist at UNC Asheville's National Environmental Modeling and Analysis Center (NEMAC), overseeing the development of digital storytelling products and content management systems. Currently, they hold the position of Science Editor at NEMAC+FernLeaf. Throughout their career, Nina has prioritized the delivery of high-quality information to the appropriate audience, ensuring conceptual clarity, accuracy, and format.
Nina Hall obtained a Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree in Sustainability, Food Systems, and Urban Renewal from the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a BA in English Literature from Lewis & Clark College from 1997 to 1999. Nina also attended Portland Community College from 1995 to 1997. In terms of their secondary education, Nina Hall graduated from Lakeland High School from 1978 to 1981. In addition to their academic degrees, they obtained a certification in the NCI Charrette System from the National Charrette Institute in 2012.
