Alex Terry is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in public sector financial management. Currently serving as the Business Manager for Capital Projects at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Alex manages a portfolio of capital projects exceeding $1 billion, overseeing budgeting, accounting, and compliance with state and audit standards. Prior roles include Financial Strategy Analyst for the Town of Cary, where Alex developed balanced budgets and managed capital improvement plans, and Budget Analyst for the Town of Chapel Hill, where Alex analyzed financial data and implemented cash handling policies. Alex began the career as an Internal Auditor for the City of Durham, conducting efficiency assessments across multiple departments.
