Disha Subramaniam currently serves as a T32 Pre Doctoral Fellow in Digestive Disease Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, beginning in July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at CERobs Consulting LLC and ViiV Healthcare, and as a Consultant and Analyst at IQVIA, where work focused on emerging methods and solutions as well as real-world solutions. Disha's research background also includes a position as a Research Assistant at Duke Clinical Research Institute, and academic experience as a Graduate Student at Duke University. Disha's professional journey began as a Caseworker at the ASUC Student Advocate's Office at UC Berkeley, and includes an internship with the U.S. Department of State and a Public Health and Clinical Operations internship at MedConsult Clinic. Disha holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's in Bioethics & Science Policy from Duke University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
