Heather H. Ward is an accomplished professional in the field of global affairs and international education. Currently serving as Associate Provost for Global Affairs and Associate Dean of Study Abroad and International Exchanges at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since January 2019, Ward has previously held significant roles at the American Council on Education, George Mason University, and Mary Baldwin University. Ward's extensive experience also includes participation in the Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Seminar and positions at the Vera Institute of Justice and the U.S. Department of Justice. Academically, Ward holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Vanderbilt University.
