Jennifer Bowman

Jennifer Bowman currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Donor Relations, Marketing, and Volunteer Engagement at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where responsibilities include leadership of various teams related to donor relations and events. Previously, Jennifer held roles such as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development and Foundation Relations at the UNC Health Foundation and Interim Senior Executive Director of Development for Advancing Health at UNC-Chapel Hill, contributing to significant fundraising initiatives including a $4.25 billion campaign. Earlier experiences include directing special events at UNC Lineberger, growing revenue substantially, and founding Bowman Consulting, LLC, which specialized in marketing strategies and event execution. Jennifer's career began at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where advancements led to the establishment of the firm's first events department. Jennifer holds degrees in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations from the University of South Carolina, and earlier studies at The University of the South and Pinecrest High School.
