Maribel Carrion

Maribel Carrion is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in managing information systems and applications across various sectors. Currently serving as the ITS Executive Director for Student Administration and Enterprise Reporting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since October 2008, Carrion oversees the implementation and support of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions for over 28,000 students. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Nortel, where Carrion held positions ranging from VP to Director of Information Services, managing teams across multiple regions and providing critical IS support that contributed to significant revenue growth. Additional experience includes strategic planning at Triangle United Way and early career roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC and Goodyear Atomic Corporation. Carrion holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BS in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
