Megan Jacob is a dedicated student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Health and Society. Currently serving as a Caraway Campus Crew member, Megan promotes a start-up digital healthcare platform for college women, successfully inspiring over five peers to engage with its services. As a Thiele Lab Research Assistant, Megan conducts significant research on neurotransmitter signaling related to ethanol binge-drinking in mice. Additionally, Megan holds leadership roles as Vice President of Events for both the Carolina Neuroscience Club and UNC Heelraisers, where planning and coordination of various events have engaged numerous students and raised substantial funds for the university. Through involvement in the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity recruitment committee, Megan has also expanded membership and fostered a strong sense of community within the organization.
