Rubi Herrera Franco

Rubi Herrera Franco, MSW, currently serves as the Head of Student Services and Head of Impact at the Student Success Agency, a position held since August 2015, while also functioning as a Student Success Agent. Additionally, Rubi co-founded UndocuCarolina at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where involvement began in August 2018. Previous experience includes a role as a Social Work Intern at Mindfully Fierce; The Compassion Guide from August 2021 to May 2022, and as a Family Engagement Coach/CFR at the Children's Home Society of North Carolina from August 2020 to May 2021. Early career efforts included work as a Student Research Assistant at The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education from June 2014 to December 2016. Rubi holds a Master of Social Work degree obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between August 2019 and May 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications from the same institution, completed in May 2018.
