Theresa Palmer

Theresa Palmer is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of social work, currently serving as the Director of the 3-Year Winston-Salem MSW Program and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since 2010. Previously held the role of Coordinator of Field Education and Clinical Assistant Professor at the same institution. Theresa Palmer's leadership experience includes serving as the Chapter Director for the NCAMFT Board from 2007 to 2011 and as the Chief Operating Officer at The Children's Home, Inc. from 1992 to 2009. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from both North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from William & Mary and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
