Tom Collopy

Tom Collopy is an experienced executive and advisor with a focus on startups and technology. Currently serving as Executive Director at Automated Consulting Group, Collopy assists leaders in navigating AI-related risks and opportunities. With roles as a consultant at Duke Clinical Research Institute and as a founding advisory board member at Carry Venture Capital, Collopy provides mentorship and capital support to early-stage startups. Additionally, Collopy has authored guides on startup development and has been a startup advisor for over 50 companies. As a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and co-founder of Unbiased Insights, Inc., Collopy emphasizes entrepreneurial education and effective business practices. Collopy holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Syracuse University, respectively.
