Carl Mattacola

Carl Mattacola is an accomplished academic and healthcare leader with extensive experience in the field of athletic training and rehabilitation sciences. Since June 2019, Carl has served as the Dean of the School of Health and Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, Carl has held roles at the University of Kentucky since 1999, including Director of the Division of Athletic Training and the Rehabilitation Sciences Doctoral Program, as well as Professor. Carl earned a PhD in Sports Medicine, a Master of Education in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia, and two Bachelor's degrees in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training/Education from Canisius University.
