Daniel S. has extensive work experience in IT infrastructure. Daniel started their career at Randolph County, NC in 2002 as a Systems Administrator, where they administered Windows and Linux machines and maintained end user security. Daniel then progressed to the role of Systems & Network Engineer / IT Manager in 2008, where they supervised a team, implemented new strategies, and managed infrastructure projects. In 2018, they joined the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a Systems Engineer, specializing in infrastructure platforms and systems infrastructure. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead / Cloud Architect, demonstrating their expertise in cloud architecture and leadership abilities.

Daniel S. attended ECPI University from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained the equivalent of a 2-year degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In 2016 to 2017, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on Public Administration. Daniel also has several certifications, including being a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and completing courses in DevOps Foundations and PowerShell 5 Essential Training from Lynda.com. Daniel has also obtained the AZ-303 Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies certification. Additionally, they have pursued the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification and the Palo Alto Networks Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) certification.
