Jackson Cooper

Jackson Cooper, MFA, currently serves as a Senior Associate and Interim Director of Development for CEO Services at Valtas, specializing in nonprofit fundraising and leadership transitions since July 2025. Concurrently, Jackson holds the position of Arts Commissioner, appointed by the Governor, with ArtsWA/Washington State Arts Commission since July 2024 and has been an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University since December 2022, focusing on Arts Leadership and Nonprofit Leadership. Jackson has also worked as Adjunct Faculty in Arts Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since August 2021 and founded Artful Living LLC in February 2019, providing consulting services to various arts organizations and producing over 150 performances. Previous roles include Chief Executive Director at the American Genre Film Archive and Associate Director of Major Giving at Mary's Place. Jackson's academic background includes an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University and an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Financial Stewardship from Harvard Kennedy School.
