Lauren Haldeman

Lauren Haldeman is an accomplished academic in the field of nutritional sciences, currently serving as the Chair and Professor in the Department of Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since August 2001. Haldeman has held several roles within the department, including Associate Chair and Associate Professor, and began the academic career as an Assistant Professor. In addition to university responsibilities, Haldeman has contributed as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior since January 2023. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut and as a Nutrition Educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Resource Development from the University of Rhode Island.
