Sean McClure is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational leadership and community engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Program Coordinator at Wake Forest University's Center for Research, Engagement, and Collaboration in African American Life since July 2019, Sean contributes to initiatives centered on the experiences of Black individuals in the U.S. Alongside this role, Sean is a Special Projects Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where involvement encompasses key concerns in educational theory and philosophy. Sean's previous experience includes serving as the Youth Ministry Coordinator at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church and holding various positions in music education, including Director of Bands at West Stokes High School and Morehead High School. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies with a concentration in Cultural Foundations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity, and a Bachelor's degree in Music from Appalachian State University.
