Zachary Smith

Zachary Smith serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Enterprises at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro since August 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing a range of auxiliary services such as campus dining and risk management. Prior roles include Assistant Vice Chancellor for Emergency and Risk Management, where Zachary developed the enterprise risk management program, and Director of Emergency Management, managing university emergency plans. Earlier experience includes positions as Emergency Management Coordinator for Guilford County and Emergency Management Director for the City of Burlington, along with roles in fire safety and education. Zachary is an MBA candidate at North Carolina State University and holds a Master of Science in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
