Lea Fernandes

Lea Fernandes, M.Ed., is a seasoned professional in higher education with extensive experience in donor engagement, student recruitment, and alumni relations. Currently serving as the Director of Donor Engagement and Stewardship at the University of North Florida since May 2023, Fernandes previously held positions such as Assistant Director of Development for Academic & Student Affairs at the same institution and Director of Engagement for Alumni and Families at Jacksonville University. With earlier roles including International Student Recruitment and Admissions, Study Abroad Coordinator, and various recruitment positions across several universities, Fernandes possesses a strong background in fostering relationships within academic environments. Fernandes earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership/Higher Education Administration from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development with a minor in Nutrition from Georgia Southern University.
