Emily Deardorff

Emily Deardorff currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Government Relations at the University of North Texas System, a position held since February 2020. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Governmental Relations at the University of Texas System from November 2017 to February 2020, where responsibilities involved assisting high-level officials with appropriations issues and representing the UT System. Earlier roles include working as a Budget Analyst at the Legislative Budget Board, where research and budget recommendations for higher education institutions were developed, as well as serving as a Policy Analyst at the Texas Low Income Housing Information Service. Emily's academic credentials include a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Austin College.
