Jim Gross

Jim Gross is an accomplished financial planning and analysis professional currently serving as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Financial Planning and Analysis at the University of North Texas System since May 2021. Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of the Consolidated Budget to the Board of Regents and managing the Budget Development System along with financial system configuration and security. Previous roles include Budget Director for the University of North Texas System, Director of Financial Analysis and Planning at Sam Houston State University, and various positions in business intelligence and software engineering at Texas Tech University and other organizations. Jim Gross holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Wayland Baptist University, and a degree in Software Engineering from Texas Tech University.
