Donna Goodwin, PhD has a diverse background in art education, curriculum development, and arts policy. With a focus on visual arts, they have held roles such as Director and Associate Professor at the University of Northern Colorado, where they also served as Chair of the School of Art and Design. Donna has demonstrated expertise as a Standards and Instructional Support Team Visual Arts Content Specialist at the Colorado Department of Education, as well as a Project Director at the Center for Integrated Arts Education. Their experience includes work at various educational institutions and museums, where they have contributed significantly to the field of art education.

Donna Goodwin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of North Texas and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Phoenix. Donna later earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Arts Assessment, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver, along with a specialization in Executive Leadership of Successful Schools in School Administration/Principalship from the same institution. Goodwin also holds additional certifications including a Colorado Principal License, Colorado Professional Teaching License, and a Texas Teacher License in K-12 Art.
