Jeff Deits

Jeff Deits is a seasoned professional in the field of sports medicine, currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine at the University of Northern Colorado and Banner Health since August 2021. Previously, Jeff held the position of Head Athletic Trainer for the Memphis Grizzlies and worked as an Athletic Trainer at The Ohio State University, covering Men's Basketball, Women's Golf, and Men's Ice Hockey. With experience as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Wichita State University and various roles at The Ohio State University, including Lecturer, Intern Athletic Trainer, and Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer, Jeff has built a comprehensive background in athletic training across multiple sports. Jeff's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Sport Humanities from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Northern Colorado.
